Hi All,

The Tscc NI AutoSolo held on the 8th March was an eye-opener for us at Still Motoring. Cheap motoring events are always of interest and will prove the most likely to keep interest in motorsports and old vehicles going for a long time. It does not come cheaper than this guys and gals provided you have a motor with an MOT you’re welcome to test your driving skills. Do not think that you’ll be racing around a track relying solely on the power output of your engine. This is about testing your personal ability to drive a car effectively from point A to point B. You will unlikely go over 40 mph but with all the twists and turns it will probably feel like triple that speed. Learning how your car reacts to your driving is what this is about as well as improving your own skills. Definitely worth a go. Still Motoring will soon be giving it a try with one of their motors – a Smart Four Four just to prove it’s NOT all about the engine! See the vehicles that were in attendance on the day from a Vauxhall Carlton 2.0 litre Diplomat to Minis, Healeys, Midgets an MGB, MR2s, MX5s and more.
