A grey day undistrubed by rain. This was commonly a motorbike display but classic cars were a welcome feature. Reaching Crossgar from Dromara and Ballynahinch created some confusion as someone had crashed into a telegraph pole and blocked the route. A scenic trip around the the countryside took us an alternative way that gave our cars some extra time to be enjoyed.
The event itself appeared well organized and there was food a refreshment avaiilable after you paid the steep price for entry of £10 per person. That caused a little unhappiness, but the trip had taken us long enough to be thankful to have arrived so it was paid.
As mentioned this was originally a motorbike display and it showed. Lots of incredible bikes were there to be seen hence we several images of them. The car content was around thirty motors, but some we hadn’t come across which made it worthwhile as was chatting with owners. The run began around 3pm but we and the convoy set off without us. Nice event shame about the price.
